The Pseudo Newsletter is is a monthly newsletter with bookmaking tips, small press book reviews, studio updates and rambling thoughts on books & literature.

New in 2026! A snail mail subscription to the newsletter! Every month, after I send out the email newsletter, I re-design the text as a simple flip-book zine, riso-printed in red, flat gold or hunter green. If you prefer physical formats or an internet-free experience of reading, then you can subscribe to get the Pseudo Newsletter Print Edition zine mailed to you once a month.

Every month features the following columns:

Pseudo Sermon
an introductory essay on the practice of bookmaking, art communities, publishing culture, the history of literature, or anything that has been bouncing around my head that month.

Paperwork
Small bookbinding, layout & paper tips. Instructional, with short overview and step-by-step visuals.

Pub Club: Small Press Reviews
A critical look at some of the small press books within my library & the studio library, looking at the design, text, binding & publishing methods of each book.

Studio Tabloids
A behind-the-scenes peek at our silly studio life.

Hark, Pseudo Press!
Updates on any forthcoming, recently-released or archival Pseudo Press publications & stationery.

This subscription works on a seasonal basis, so you will be charged 4 times per year. In each season, you will receive 3 months of Pseudo Newsletters, mailed to you via letter envelope every month.

Winter: January–March
Spring: April–June
Summer: July–September
Autumn: October–December

If you would like to cancel your subscription, please do so before the next season starts! The price of the subscription includes shipping costs.
